We provide witnesses
Some estate planning documents require one or two witnesses in addition to notarization. Other documents—most commonly wills—typically require witnesses but do not require notarization. When notarization is not required, our notary can usually serve as one of the required witnesses, meaning you will need to provide one additional qualified witness.
You are welcome to ask a friend or neighbor to serve as a witness, provided that person is not a beneficiary of your estate or otherwise disqualified under applicable law. If you prefer, SF Notary + Apostille can provide one or more impartial witnesses for your estate plan signing for an additional fee.
