Bylaws Apostille and Authentication Service
What are bylaws?
According to Rocket Lawyer, bylaws are rules and regulations “adopted by corporations, associations, benefit societies, etcetera, to govern their ongoing activities. Such bylaws must be compatible with the charters of the various organizations and must be in conformity with their aims and goals.”
What is a bylaws apostille?
In brief, a bylaws apostille is a certification process that validates your company bylaws for use abroad. Overseas parties may require an apostilled copy of your bylaws as part of a legal proceeding or business transaction.
To give the documents legal status overseas, the relevant state office (often the Secretary of State or the Business Division) will look up your business records. If everything is in order, the office creates a certified copy and adheres an apostille certificate.
In general, most of our requests for bylaws apostilles come from companies organized in California or Delaware. However, we may be able to retrieve records from other states as well.
How do I get my bylaws apostilled or authenticated?

2. We’ll take it from there.
For corporations organized in California, we will work directly with the California Business Programs Division and the California Secretary of State to retrieve an official, apostilled copy of the requested document. Corporations organized in Delaware require us to retrieve an official, gold-sealed copy from the Delaware Division of Corporations. Other states have different procedures for retrieving Articles of Organization; accordingly, if your company was organized in another state, we will follow that state’s procedures.
Some countries require apostilles plus additional certifications, details of which we will provide in the price quote. Once the document is apostilled (or apostilled and authenticated/legalized), we’ll ship it via FedEx Priority Overnight Service (USA destinations) or FedEx International Priority Service (overseas destinations).
